Costumes

I made 4 Hallowwen costumes this year! In the previous post I made the toddler pirate costume. Following in that them, we went with Peter Pan. My sister was Peter Pan, and I was Tinker Bell. I also made a head piece for my best friend to be Maleficient. Pretty Proud of myself. i'll post pics of the others later but that's my share for today. :)

Time at the zoo....

V's Pirate Costume.

Tonight I got to go to Haunt the Zoo with my cousin, niece and nephew. It was an enjoyable time and I'm glad I was able to go with them. My little sweetie got to wear her pirate costume that I made and must say that she was TOO cute. Love her to pieces. She doesn't wear things on her head too well so instead of a hat or scarf, I made her a bow with a skull on it.

I was totally worried about how the costume would turn out but I'm pretty please with the end result! :)

Something New....

I decided to start this blog to share the various items that I make. I love to craft..... sew...... scrapbook...... play in makeup... and I am pretty proud of some of the various items I've made. So I want to share what inspires me as well as how my projects turn out... good or bad.

I have several projects I've made over the last year that I'll share as time progresses but the first I want to share is this adorable Ok State dress I made for my niece. I made it from a shirt my sister didn't want anymore. I made three tiers. It was something I looked at other dresses for construction but was a trial and error masterpiece. First try was too snug so I added panels on the side. It's still a bit short but will still be just as cute with some leggings.
